Spacey has always been creepy. So creepy that it oozes off the screen and the channel usually gets switched.
When I used to travel to London once a year, a friend of mine, a gay theater professional, told me Spacey used to prowl a particular park at night for rough trade. A lot of rough trade are underaged boys. Spacey once showed up with black eyes from the wrong encounter.
Everyone in theater knew he was gay. I can tell you for a fact that Jason Robards couldn’t stand him and once begged me at an dinner event I had arranged to put him as far away from him as possible. Not because he was gay but because he sucked all the air at the room.

That’s why he’s so good in House of Cards.
I wondered why they felt it necessary to throw in the gay angle on his "House of Cards" character.
Perhaps, if the Clintons were the model for that show's first family, at least one of them had to have expanded, deviate sexual tastes, and it was more natural for him than for Robin to play the role. Or, perhaps they didn't want to mimic the Clintons too closely.
No doubt this is just the tip of the iceberg. Like Weinstein, Spacey’s victims will all start coming out of the woodwork in 1-2-3...
