Spent a year in continuing education that had a number of vets from various branches of the services going under the GI bill. Most were pretty laid-back. However one vet in particular (a little guy) was extremely (and obnoxiously) vocal about how his branch of the military was the best, and how he'd fight anyone about it.

The instructor was an ex-Korean vet as well, and finally fronted him about his running his mouth off. He graphically told him what he would do to him if he ever acted on his verbal threats (and I had no reason to doubt that the instructor was more than capable to follow through).

Nothing further came of it, but ran into Pvt. Mouthy a few times afterwards and it seemed he never quite learned his lesson. That was over 40 years ago, so wonder if he wised up or learned people skills the hard way...
