Roseanne Barr isn’t pleased with Rob Reiner’s focus on the connection between Russia and the Trump administration, and she apparently isn’t afraid to let him know.
The Trump-supporting “Roseanne” star took to Twitter on Thursday to describe a run-in that she says she recently had with the liberal “All in the Family” alum over his involvement with the Committee to Investigate Russia, a website investigating whether Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election to help Trump win.
“I drank too much in NYC and saw Rob Reiner and could not help myself — I went over to him & got into a fight with him over all that Russian BS,” Barr tweeted.
“I said, ‘You’re buying fake news,'” she continued. “He said, ‘I’m not going to listen to this. I’m out of here.’ I said — ‘u should politely discuss opinions!'”
Reiner, who is vocal about his opposition to Trump, is on the advisory board of Committee to Investigate Russia and has donated at least $100,000 to the cause.

They are reviving “Roseanne” with the original cast. :-?
Apparently, though as I recall, they killed off Dan. Maybe they could bring back John Goodman playing Walter Sobchak as Roseanne’s new hubby.
The ending was, they won the lottery in the final season, but that at the end the whole series was revealed to be the Roseanne character writing fan fiction about her family or something, in “reality” Dan had died of heart attack, the sister was a dyke instead of the mother, and the daughters actually each married each other’s husband and Roseanne though there were bad matches.
Goodman is in it so I assume they are retconning that bizarreness.
I saw a little of the final season a few years ago, fans say online that having them win the lottery ruined the show.
I stopped watching the show a few seasons before the end. The Becky rotation thing was enough to make your head explode. Average original Becky and then hot Canadian Becky and back again.
John Goodman’s character “died”. Not. That’s going to be explained as a dream sequence a la Bobby Ewing on “Dallas”.
I only know this because they were talking about it on sports radio - that Tom Werner, a co-owner of the Red Sox is a raving leftist and Roseanne is a DT supporter.
I call this the “Obama Effect”^; can’t even hear game scores without politics being injected. Politics in everything.
So, no Walter. He’s most likely living in a cabin somewhere, waiting for the zombie apocalypse to start.
If Roseanne really wanted to be a revolutionary, she’d jettison these leftist a$$hole producers and get some non-traditional Hollywood people on board and rip into the establishment. If she does that, she’ll end up being back as the top-rated show on tv again. Otherwise, they’ll just turn it into another sick leftist anti-Trump hatefest and Roseanne herself will probably pull the plug in short order.

I can’t figure this one out. She must have gotten screwed over big time by liberals.
Original Becky will be Becky, while hot Becky will be playing “another role”.

I’m guessing the daughters will no longer be married cause Becky’s husband’s actor is dead (drugs, sad) and Darlene’s is under contract at CBS.
Darlene is on “The Talk” 5 days a week now (a much less objectionable version of “The View”), so I wonder if she’ll give up the gig for it or just make guest appearances. Presumably, Roseanne will be playing grandma.
