High profile stops at film festivals where everybody hated it. The general consensus is there’s a reason the Cohen’s never made it. Meanwhile Saw is a license to print money, not much money, but that’s what controlling the budget is for.

Meanwhile Saw is a license to print money, not much money, but thats what controlling the budget is for.Horror movies are made on the cheap. No big bucks FX and one can hire no name actors. I think I read a study that horror movies have the best rate of return of any genre.

Horror movies have always been so. Its how Universal got started - the Dracula and Frankenstein franchises made a lot of money.
