Took a peak to see what the attendance was at the game in San Fran. It was half full. Fox didn't show the national anthem, do not know if any Cowboys knelt for the anthem.
Dwight Clark is the only reason the stands are even partly filled.
I think the fans are there to celebrate Dwight Clark.
I'm a scientist. The stadium is twice as large as it needs to be.
(Actually, there is no need for a stadium. Let the owners build their own stadia and cut the players' pay accordingly: then a lot of players would quit, reducing the quality of play; then there would be less demand, leading to smaller stadia: eventually we'd reach a stable equilibrium based on what the market would bear without gubmint subsidies.)

I don’t know who that is but I have been boycotting the NFL since the get-go! What I don’t like is people posting pictures of stadiums that are empty when in fact it’s false so I had to see it with my own eyes to believe the stadium was half empty... we are here to report the truth and not fake news!

Once uponatime was a big Cowboy fan. Season tickets et al. Now my wife and I are doing jigsaw puzzles. Fun and many are educational.

There is an international feed for MLB in english which doesn’t use the Fox team. Since 2015, Matt Vasgersian has served as the play-by-play commentator; for the 2016 World Series, he was joined by Buck Martinez (television play-by-play of the Toronto Blue Jays, and former color commentator for TBS) on color. Not sure how easy or hard it is to pick it up inside the US but good luck if you try.

Soccer is a great sport. I found it kind of boring years ago but once you learn more about it, I’d bet you will begin to appreciate the skills of it. I attend Sounders matches when I can, but it’s a 2-hour drive and parking is expensive. 60,000+ is not uncommon and it gets pretty loud, just like good fans should!
When the eagles played there a couple weeks ago they had more fans than the 49ers.
Screen shots today from around the league say you’re wrong. In stadium attendance at kickoff is way down. Very large numbers of empty seats.
Looks to me like the boycott is growing, not shrinking (as I thought it might).
