He prowled the streets of Manhattan looking for attractive young women, usually in their early 20s, sometimes college students, on occasion a high schooler. He approached them in Central Park, standing in line at a bank or drug store or at a copy center while they worked on their resumes.
His opening line had a few variations. One went: My names James Toback. Im a movie director. Have you ever seen Black and White or Two Girls and a Guy?
Probably not. So hed start to drop names. He had an Oscar nomination for writing the Warren Beatty movie Bugsy. He directed Robert Downey Jr., in three movies. The actor, Toback claimed, was a close friend; he had invented him. If you didnt believe him, he would pull out a business card or an article that had been written about him to prove he had some juice in Hollywood. That he could make you a star.
But first, hed need to get to know you. Intimately. Trust him, hed say. Its all part of his process.
Then, in a hotel room, a movie trailer, a public park, meetings framed as interviews or auditions quickly turned sexual, according to 38 women who, in separate interviews told the Los Angeles Times of similar encounters they had with Toback.

I totally agree with your assessment.
I think there are two breeds of men. One does not become aroused by scared and miserable women under their power, and one does. I honestly do not know what in the second groups brain or experience caused this.
Good men are like good women, aroused by mutual sexual attraction and interest.
It is revolting to think that some men NEED to basically hurt or overpower the unwilling in order to feel sexual pleasure. It is just so wrong. And they know that their orgasm in front of a victim is about as appealing as if they just defecated in front of the victim. It practically falls under the category of violence than sex.
I dont know which Meatloaf song you mean.
I mean Chapman is fine as hell....how she bedded is yuck factor 11 but Id have been tickled with her every night at least looks wise.
I just remembered Chapman was Harveys wife. Well, that is kind of like Bill Cosby: with his fame, he could have had one night stands or affairs with MANY beautiful ladies. But Cosbys kink was that he got off on the UNWILLING, and in his case, the COMATOSE. He chose not to have plain affairs; he wanted them almost dead, like how a cat plays with its dead mouse victim.
Harvey had a business deal with his wife, but for his jollies he wanted to abuse unwilling girls. That is what turned him on.
“...any ordinary woman who falls for the “I’m gonna put ya in pitchurs” line almost deserves what she gets...”
I used to get the “you could be a model, and I can help you” line in my late teens and early 20s. Being a P.K., and then a seminary student, I was clueless about what goes on in the real world. Even clueless, when I’d hear the lines something came through for me (guardian angel?), I got an awful feeling, and departed. People know what’s right and wrong, even if they don’t KNOW-know. Some kind of instinct, I guess.
Everyone of these women would have answered emails from the “King of Nigeria.”

Um, yeah, big difference... while this Hollywood scumbag is a piece of sh*t criminal and should get prison time, he wasn’t the president of the United States, opening up our national security to blackmailers around the world, like Clinton did and was deified by the left for doing so.
The casting couch has been in use for a hundred years, but the Clinton Oval Office activities opened the door for all these hypocrite liberals to emulate that GD piece of sh*t Bill Clinton and his equally despicable protectorate Hillary.
That is because victimized men won’t come forward about homo abuse. It’s painful and tied directly to their manhood or ego. They blame themselves.
Thats a very good observation Sara
I think youre right
The whole of Hollywood needs a little citizen caning. Thanks ForYourChildren.

...Is still a compulsive gambler. In an interview from Interview magazine, Toback claims he took the most hits of LSD ever recorded... He had such a reputation as a ladies man, that a 1989 Spy magazine article detailed some of his conquests.
