World War II “Tuskegee Airman” P51 Red Tail Mustangs providing “fighter” flight cover for B17s bombing France, Germany, etc. I can tell you tons of them”White” boys on them 1O man per bomber crews were thanking God for the “Red Tail” Black American fighter pilots. Until the “Red Tails” showed up B17 crews were getting slaughtered by the Luftwaffe. Them Black boy pilots kicked ass..period and saved tons of bomber crew lives, thank God!!!
Also...large numbers of Black American volunteers with Andrew Jackson at the Battle of New Orleans during the “War of 1812” Jackson & his boys kicked the British butts!!!

Grayfox, thanks for these stories. I’m going to look them up and read about them. I had a 3rd cousin or something who was on those bombers over Germany. Sounds like the Red Tails saved his hide.
