Jennifer Lawrence revealed in a speech on Monday night that she was forced to participate in a “degrading and humiliating” lineup while naked and was told to lose weight when she was starting off her acting career.
Lawrence, who was being honored at Elle’s Women in Hollywood event in Los Angeles, stood at the lectern and detailed her experience of being mistreated in the entertainment industry.
“When I was much younger and starting out, I was told by producers of a film to lose 15 pounds in two weeks,” the 27-year-old actress said to a crowd that included Kristen Stewart, Margot Robbie and Ashley Greene.
“One girl before me had already been fired for not losing the weight fast enough,” she added. “During this time a female producer had me do a nude lineup with about five women who were much, much, thinner than me. We all stood side by side with only tape on covering our privates.”
Lawrence called it a “degrading and humiliating” experience and said the producer then told her she should “use the naked photos” of herself as “inspiration” for her diet.
When she did try to stand up for herself, another producer said she was “perfectly f—kable," Lawrence said.

I’ve heard that they get a little more personal in the nude lineup when you join the military.
If it was the tryouts for Mystique, this whole thing is stupid. It sounds like they even went the extra mile of having a female do the scoping to make them more comfortable. If you’re going to take that role, you better look good on that 40’ screen. Lawrence seems to be bandwagoning here, which is consistent with her (lack) of character.
Years ago, some magazine published full frontal nude photos of some famous male actors taken from the 1930s through 1950s. These were taken by their agents to show the producers what they had to offer.
Years ago it was shown that young girls are lining up just waiting for their chance to “strut their stuff” before the directors. If one is too timid to strip there is always another waiting in the wings.

Google her and Weinstein and see the endless pictures of the two of them all over each other. She obviously slept her way to the top, but also wants to be a victim. Disgusting.
I’m sure this a dumb question, but why do the various entertainment industries (movies, music, fashion modeling, etc.) get to exploit people in ways that are not now tolerated out here in Squaresville? In other words, why do these industries still get to break labor and employment laws? I suppose the answer is because the people who want careers in these industries won’t speak up and take on the perpetrators until after decades of abuse have occurred.
