Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was knocked out of Sunday’s game during his fourth pass, when Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr hit him shortly after he threw.

Rodgers, who completed 2 of 4 passes for 18 yards before exiting, was evaluated in Green Bay’s medical tent and carted off the field. He suffered an injury to his throwing shoulder.

The Packers announced Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone shortly after halftime.

The Vikings defense rolled without Rodgers. Backup quarterback Brett Hundley threw an interception on his first pass, a tipped ball to cornerback Xavier Rhodes. Hundley was sacked twice and completed 4 of 8 passes for 43 yards, a touchdown and the pick in the first half.

“Give me the bad news, doc.”

“Aaron, you know that song that says the collar bone’s connected to the shoulder?”

“Yeah.”

“You might want to omit that verse.”

Been doing laundry and other household chores this afternoon as the work week is uber busy since my company is on OT mode for the next 6-8 weeks. Haven’t watched the NFL all season nor today. Read the news and thought karma is biting the league and its high profile “protest” defenders hard it would seem. I hope Mr Rodgers heals well but I just don’t give a rat’s behind about professional football anymore.

And I am a native Texan ... take my opinion for what it is worth.

Solidarity in hating the USA? Good luck with that. Kapernick loves the Cartro regime so there is some serious stupid going on in that Chia Pet head.

What goes around, comes around. Making a concerted effort to offend those that love this nation apparently has nasty cosmic consequences.

He DID say that Colin Kaepernick deserved to be on a roster now. Maybe he was just opening a spot?

Now he will have to stand at the far end of the kaepernicking line to link with his one good arm. Or hey! here’s an idea maybe now he can go up in the stands and lead his fans in arm locking kaepernicking. He’s still a scumbag.

yeah, but at least Aaron Rodgers is a social justice warrior! He can take great comfort that he joined a bunch of jerks who disrespected the flag.

My husband’s response, when I told him I saw this on FB, was “Oh, you’re heartbroken, right?”. Yes, it was sarcasm. He has never cared about football and I stopped awhile ago. Packer fans are intense so I imagine there will be flags at half mast tomorrow.

Why give fodder to the left by making such a ridiculous assumption about people based on the color of their skin?

A sack is always celebrated by the D-line, Jared Allen did his calf roping celebration every time. It’s a big deal no matter how much melanin the QB possesses.

QBs are usually slow to get up after being sacked and there are no trainers on the field yet so no one knew Rodgers was seriously injured at the point that pic was taken.

On yesterday’s NFL thread someone named Tamodee, not sure if spelling it correctly, was nothing but go pack. This even when pointed out how disgusting football over patriotism was. I wonder if he is in hysterics today?

Trump curse is real. This lawsuit will bring about more friction between owners and players. It’s a good thing.

Yes, the Packers burned no bridges with Kapernick. Why not sign him (other than you can simultaneously rent Lambeau out to grow corn on).

No football for me today. If traitors are getting injured on the field, so be it. I hope all teams go 8-8 and nobody gets to the playoffs.
