The NFL said on Friday it has no plans to mandate players stand for the U.S. national anthem, but will rather present a possible solution on how to end the controversial protests when it meets with team owners next week.

The fact that Lockhart even has a job there proves they have no plans to turn around this mess. They fully deserve to fail. Too bad....I really enjoyed pro football for many, many years....since B&W TV, actually. I feel like these ignorant, selfish bastards have stolen something from me.

Well it didn’t help that freakin RUSH added fuel to the fire!!! Saying trump was acting like a dictator making them stand and that he was uncomfortable with that...WTF!!! STUPID RUSH!!!! I heard it with my own ears!!

how to use the broad platforms of the NFL, players and clubs to try and make progress on issues of equality, social justice and criminal justice reform. Well Shazamm!
I did not know "N.F.L." stood for Equality, Social justice, Criminal justice.
Wait - that's "E.S.C."
??
I'm soooo confused...

Not sure if I would or not. Can't say I am really missing it. But that would be the minimum for me to consider it. I don't believe it will actually ever happen. I don't believe the players are smart enough to understand what they are doing, or that the 1st Amendment does not cover the consequences if they do this while at their place of employment. I would think the league is smart enough, but they are afraid of their thug players.
I also want to see what happens in Dallas. If the owners started firing this kneelers and replaced them, this would end tomorrow.

Perhaps some of Rush’s NFL buddies pushed back a bit?

Certain people cannot back up.
It does not matter to some whether right or wrong, they are too weak minded and prideful to back up.
In other words, low intelligence...you can't fix stupid.

What if they all sat and no one was watching?Only those in the stadium would know. FOX and CBS have stopped showing the before-game anthem. It wouldn't surprise me if the viewership drop-off had a lot to do with the decision, and they were hoping to defuse the issue by not showing it.

Are some of these sports figures who are fortunate enough to win an Olympic medal going to sit or raise their fist in defiance in front of the world?

They will try and get the networks not to televise the American hating kneelers. It won’t work with the internet and smart phones.
They went into a huddle with themselves and decided to double down on stupid. They are afraid of their players more than their customers. They have probably doomed the National Felicia League with this decision.

Post a photo of an NFL player taking a knee, to the GROIN!
That’s what they need.

I am very proud of the voters of the city of San Diego for refusing to vote to fund a new stadium for the Charger’s benefit.

Goodell believes players should stand, but on the other hand ... maybe they shouldn't. What a weasel. This guy should be in Congress:
