Jane Fonda, in a new interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour set to air Friday, said she knew of the allegations against Harvey Weinstein a year ago, and is "ashamed" she didn't say anything at the time.

Not speaking up about Harvey isn’t nearly as bad as when she did speak up -— in North Vietnam.
You’re kidding, right? What’s next, exonerate Benedict Arnold?
Producer: “Yes, Jane! You can have the role if you would just get the hell out of my bathroom!”
Pausing with guns, these murder machines, when it was cool and communist to do so.
thank you...
Weinstein wasnt the only one. Every few hours, it seems, some other actor or actress confesses to guilt and remorse over not saying something. That they regret it, they shouldve stepped up, blah blah blah. Emma Watson stated how endemic the problem is in the business. Ok, then WHO ELSE? All the regret in the world doesnt do anybody any good at all.... except the person still withholding the names.
Lets hear it.
Yes, Jane but now that you’ve admitted being ashamed you no longer have anything to be ashamed about! Ain’t being a liberal great!?
What? For asking forgiveness for an 80 year old lady who did a foolish thing when she was young and under the influence of unsavory people?
Just add this to the long list of things she should be ashamed of. I’ve never seen a Jane Fonda movie and never will. She should be in prison.
Jane is living in the misery of her past mistakes.
She talked earlier this year about the notion of actresses being pressured into on screen nudity. Jane’s comments channeled her own past.
Jane Fonda married nudie film maker Roger Vadim in the 1960’s and he proceeded to get Jane naked on the big screen in French nudies and “Barbarella”. Vadim had done the same big time with his previous wife Brigitte Bardot.
Jane walked away from such stuff later in her career.
I don’t really hate her, her father was an alcoholic and the dysfunction is ingrained leading to all of her crazy marriages (Roger Vadim, Tom Hayden, Ted Turner), political radicalism etc. etc.
God help her to find sanity and remorse for any wrongs she has done.
Many women facilitated this pervert by not filing complaints ,,, which allowed him to continue .
But decided to stay quiet, just in case, just in case Harvey might give her the final, amazing, end of career Academy winning script and role. But Alas, Harvey Weinstein won’t be giving anymore roles to anyone, so Jane might as well jump on the me too wagon.
She was in her 30s when she went to Hanoi. Not exactly a naive age. What really bothers me most is that, after her treasonous visit to Hanoi, Americans made her even richer.
Hanoi Jane is covering her boney, worthless ass.
She was probably getting kickbacks from Wienstein for sending pretty young hopefuls to him.
Fonda knows a lot about a lot of producers and directors she hasn’t spoken up about for decades, starting with her ex Roger Vadim and their *very* close friend Roman Polanski.
Everyone is interested in the details of the glamorous lives of beautiful Hollywood stars.
Hanoi Jane has a lot to be ashamed of.
I’m ashamed of Jane Fonda.
