Any 50's/60's music lovers here?

Just trying to forgot about all the sad events in the world today with the mass killings, fires, hurricanes, etc. so I've turned to music for an outlet. I know this is weird as I'm 55y/o but I love 50's and 60's music. They just don't make music like this anymore. Here are two of my favorites.

Four Preps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXd8c1BLpRQ

Bachelors https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4opYhQAAao

What are your favs from these eras?

I was born in ‘47 and grew up on Glenn Miller. He was a favorite of my mother’s. Years later I have a lot of music from the Swing Era. I love this music.

Elvis was friends with Jackie Wilson, and he liked Wilson's music too.

That is cool.
Did you know that the guitar lead solo on Hendrix ‘Are you experienced’ is a recording played backwards?

My favorite is 80’s with the 60’s as my second. The oldies station I listen to plays 60’s 70’s and 80’s. Yes, 80’s music is considered oldies.

I like some 40’s, 50’s, 70’s and 90’s but haven’t really listened to much of the newer so called music but I do like some that I have heard.

My mom loves that song.

She says there was a DJ at a station in MI that locked himself in and played it over and over again. He was fired.
