There has been no new news for days about the mass shooting in Vegas. It feels like the case has already gone cold. Do you think law enforcement is keeping big news from us? I find it amazing that there is virtually no news on this story anymore.
Likely the investigation has largely moved away from the locals and increasingly into the hands of the always silent FBI.

I would say give the police about another week I would say. Plus with the high tech tools on hand,and if the shooter had any help all they need to do is contact InterPol to get an person or persons of interest.
At this point they are investigating people asking questions...
It takes time to edit tapes the right way. Art cannot be rushed.
It will be a scream if the day after the declare the investigation over that “ISIS” releases the tape of the live video from the room. That will get the red necks all excited.
There was a supposed anonymous police insider on a board claiming that we aren’t going to hear anything on motive for a couple of weeks.
The FBI are frustrated the public keeps poking holes in the narrative being put out there, so they are waiting to see where public speculation ends up before saying anything definitive, supposedly.

Of course there is. He either studied or passed on at least a few events that were likely full of liberals. It was a a crowd that was comprised of likely Trump voters he chose to fire upon.

He wasn’t rich, but his life was leveled to gambling. He would go on a cruise and sit at a video poker game playing $100 hands. He was listed living in a retirement home he scarcely went to and was working as a real estate investor with property at the moment in Reno.
This was not a young man and an eccentric at that. There is nothing more newsworthy because there is nothing there to sell papers. After they got past the point of the deaths, and the cache of weapons, of which he had more at the home, the story came to a dead end.

Older man with no life and nothing for him, no family, and no real friends, just gives up on life, gets his 15 minutes of fame, and shoots himself. Anyone could have done it. He is not a big deal as a person, so he went away.

I’m thinking they’re trying to figure out if the shooter acted alone. They’re probably also going through his computer and phone records with a fine tooth comb. I realize that this will take time.
I was thinking that by now the investigators could at least say (for sure) he did kill himself, he did/didn’t leave a suicide note, they do/don’t have security camera video of him hauling the weapons up to the room, etc.
ISIS has been pushing for concert attacks in the US.
You should contact the FBI and send them that, save them a lot of work.
Time to redouble amateur investigations/analysis.
