Do you own an old Muscle Car?
What's the story?
What is it?
Where did you find it?
Does it run?
Will it ever run?
Here' an old song I like;)
I have one I’d like to sell.
It would be nice for someone into restoring cars.
What is it?
Oh the stories I have...
As the daughter of an auto body man and the wife of a car guy, that last question “Will it ever run?” made me laugh.
I don’t now, but I expect to have one six weeks after my new Boflex arrives!!
I don’t but I see alot of them driving around the area. Really a blast from the past. Thank all of you that do have one.
Certain things have to align, you can’t rush these things;)
Muscle car? Technically, no. White 1990 Nissan 300zx. Custom white leather interior...runs, but needs fuel injectors, mufflers, AC repair. So actually, no not running.
Best zx body style imo.
What are they?
Bed time. I WILL respond tomorrow.
My old car is a bit gay, but I still like it!
Great body style. Loved those things when they first came out. I wouldn’t mind getting hold of a low miles garage queen, preferably the twin turbo version.
‘72 340 4-speed Dodge Demon, an original. only about 1400 of em in that configuration were made. It was used as a drug runner in the late 70s. Owner was caught and went to prison. Car was titled to his mother. I heard about it about fourth hand and finally ran all the leads down. Sure enough, it was in a barn at his mother’s place and I bought it from her. I’ve kept it in my shop since buying it. It’s not running....at least, not yet.
I have a neighbor with a 72 vet. He seems to have issues with one thing. Which spark plug wire to attach to which plug. Either that or he set the timing wrong as hell. He is an IT guy so can do no wrong. I prefer my car problems go to another neighbor who is an ASE certified master technician and a DJ. Jags keep him fed and fat. (if you buy a Jag, buy 2... One to drive and one for the shop)
1990 Nissan, that car is almost 30 years old.
I have a 1940 Plymouth pickup. Tube
frame, 4 link rear, 440 cid magnum.
500 hp.
Also, a 1979 Jeep CJ7. 360 cid,
with 400 hp. Though I don’t think
you could classify this as a muscle
car, it sure is fun to drive.
Would you consider a ‘68 Mustang, 289 w/ cam, posi, and 2 bbl, a muscle car? I wouldn’t either. Runs great, but it’s a long story.
It’s a 1992 Lincoln Mark VII.
My first car....1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda 383, 4bbl, 4 speed. A rusted out piece of junk that I bought for $300, and sold as junk for $25 a few months later.
Next was a 1969 Ford Rustang, 351C automatic, another rusted out POS that I had hauled off as junk.
Third was a 1970 Pontiac FireChicken Formula. 400, 4bbl, 4-speed, a third beat down hunk of junk that was hauled off as scrap after a few months.
The trouble with those three cars was that there simply was not the parts available to fix them. Not like today with all of the NEW sheet metal stampings and NEW trim parts.
