(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that a federal judge will personally review, in camera, redacted material from emails discussing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of iPads and iPhones during her tenure at the State Department. Judge Kollar-Kotelly also ordered the State Department to file an affidavit addressing why it should not have to search new Clinton emails recovered. In taking these steps, the court rejected arguments by the Tillerson State Department and its lawyers at the Sessions Justice Department.
The court will review the blacked-out information so as to better ascertain whether the government misconduct exception would require the release of the full emails. Generally speaking, the government misconduct exception prevents government agencies from withholding information that would shed light on government wrongdoing under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
The September 21 court order comes in connection with an April 28, 2015, FOIA lawsuit filed after the State Department failed to respond to a March 10, 2015, request (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00646)). Judicial Watch is seeking: •All records of requests by former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton or her staff to the State Department Office Security Technology seeking approval for the use of an iPad or iPhone for official government business; and •All communications within or between the Office of the Secretary of State, the Executive Secretariat, and the Office of the Secretary and the Office of Security Technology concerning, regarding, or related to the use of unauthorized electronic devices for official government business.
In March 2016, Judicial Watch obtained State Department documents in this case showing Cheryl Mills’ (Clinton’s then-chief of staff) efforts with the National Security Agency to address Clinton’s demands for a secure BlackBerry.

The buck stops with Trump. I am rather sick of his silence on these investigations.
We can blame Tillerson. We can blame Sessions. We can give the POTUS pass after pass after but it was *HE* who campaigned on draining the swamp.
I’m sick of it.
This is the aspect of Trump that I find most disturbing. There are people in his inner circle that seem to self-evidently be plotting his destruction, and yet he allows it to continue. I don’t get it.
The State Department is responsible for destroying countries,helping the US Military lose conflicts and is a black hole of billions of wasted dollars. Furthermore,it ignores the best interests and priorities of crucial American foreign policy interests.Lastly and most detrimental is the EXPANSION of nuclear proliferation that has seen worthless red lines, ignored red flags and inexplicably condoned (as is the case of the Norkers and Irani-its).
Wonders could unfold if this deep dark swamp were eliminated among most other cabinet waste baskets.

Rex Tillerson is 65 years old with a net worth of $365 million. He’s never worked in DC or the government, so he shouldn’t owe anyone in Washington anything. Theoretically, this would be his last career step & he as a ton of money. What could be his reason for protecting Crooked Hillary? Especially to the detriment of his boss, the President?
It's also really hard to fire high level “career” bureaucrats due to civil service rule.
Trump is letting the Obama holders continue their cover ups and obstruction of justice and he is dig their own graves.
At some point many will be fired for misconduct and abuse of office so they are helping Trump clean out the Obama era moles.
At the same time, public opinion is slowly being shaped by the slow drip, drip of disclosures of the abuses of power and misconduct of the Obama years so when the hammer falls, people will be better able to accept the bad news and not reflexively buy the media spin to defend the Obama dirt bags.
What’s up with Tillerson? He was told by Trump to cut about 1/3 of the State Dept., yet he has not done so and appears to be siding with the Deep State gays/leftists in the DoS.
I’m really disappointed in his performance.
