In 1987 I had to go TDY from North Dakota to California and drove my 1985 Corvette. I deliberately took the smaller back roads through ND, SD, and Nebraska and did a lot of 100+ MPH driving.
Fun trip and getting home five weeks later I hit a straight stretch of two-lane highway (ND 200) through the middle of ND after midnight with a full moon and no clouds. It was exactly 200 miles from where I got on to US29 and I did that in 1 hour 47 minutes.
I’d like to buy a Toyota FJ cruiser. They are a poor man’s Land Rover. I think they will hold their value since they don’t make them anymore.
