The standard Impreza is surprisingly cushy for a smaller car but the Impreza-based WRX has an aggressive sport suspension. Still not as harsh as many such quasi-rally cars tend to be due to Subaru’s longstanding habit of using soft bushings. That way, a very firm suspension can still be somewhat isolated. A little disorienting at first if you’ve never driven one with stock bushings, a vaguely roly-poly sensation particularly at speed. You get accustomed to it in fairly short order, though.
