I live in Los Angeles County. In the United States there are 3,142 counties (or an equivalent). LINK

I think it's safe to say we're within two or three of that figure, at the bottom of the list.

Yeah, I grew up in SoCal and family is still there.

Pretty dire.

California has more guns in total than ANY STATE in the union at 33 million. Texas is #2 at 22 million!
