Just had a thought. This kind of internet poll might be easy for people to skew the results of by a simple bot program that votes again and again. But what if the people that put the poll out decided to create fake results? How underhanded would it be to make a poll that pretended to tabulate votes but just came out with the results the programmer wanted, growing towards the numbers gradually. Then take the poll and pass it around social media frequented by people opposed to those results until they made an effort to try to change them as a group....or maybe even making a bot to vote multiple times...but of course to no avail....
