A federal appeals court on Friday upheld a California law that bans the sale of foie gras made by the force-feeding of ducks and geese.
A three-judge panel of the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, overturning a district judge’s injunction against the law, said California is free to enforce it.

How the heck is Hollyweird and fatso politicians going to get theirs? Oh, that is right, they have special rights and smuggling.
Poor goose, getting fed to death.
Almost as bad as kobe beef getting massaged and fed beer to death.
Or veal beimg boxed up and fed milk to death.
Humans are masters over most of the animals. This is who we are, and what we do. It is ingrained in our DNA.
Some cultures eat cats, dogs, horses, and monkeys, like we eat cows, pigs, and chickens.
Some cultures eat all sorts of sea creatures.
So don’t get all pissy that I don’t get upset over your cause de jour.
I would start with the fatty liver pate, and finish off with slow roasted goose.
That’s not how foie gras ducks and geese are fed. They get a tube stuck down their throat and food is poured in until no more will fit. They are truly force-fed, no quotes at all.
I was neither prissy nor upset, and this is not my cause de jour. I was merely correcting a factual error.
It's not poison, it's food, and its liver is not diseased -- its natural capacity is exaggerated.
I wish people would get their facts straight.

I have long thought that someone should set up trading posts in AZ to sell stuff forbidden in California. The Colorado Indian Tribes Reservation, which is crossed by I-10 would be ideal.
They could sell cheaper gasoline, much cheaper brand name cigarettes and other tobacco, foie gras, shark fins, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, banned beauty products, kangaroo products, flame retardants, snake skins, lead, zinc or copper fishing weights, etc., etc.
Celebrities & other elitists will be the only ones to care about this.
Yet, killing babies is approved of.
A 10x Enlarged liver in a bird is a symptom of disease. Sometimes they are grown to the point of becoming infected due to being so enlarged. Created by forcefeeding things the animal could not naturally eat. These excess things being pumped in are unhealthy for the animal. Therefore they are being poisoned on purpose. To harvest a diseased organ.

Nothing Wrong with wild or freerange goose. But some of the foie gras geese are roughly FORCE fed with feeding tubes while stuck in small isolated cages where they cant move.
You know why they have to keep them locked in boxes while feeding? Because once they are tubefed and released, they’ll fight and injure themselves before letting someone touch them again. So clearly they suffer greatly every day to grow an unnecessary snack.
We can get plenty of necessary meat, milk and eggs without havng to turture animals. And we will be FAR healthier for doing so.

Those would be two primary places. But I am less sure about Yuma, because of city ordinances, the military installations, the border, etc. It could probably work.
