I should rewatch the Sopranos

You beat me to it. Only a very few series would I rewatch because they were that good. Sopranos is one of them. I just think the last episode was one of the biggest letdowns and lacked a quintessential conclusion.

I think they wanted to leave it open-ended for a possible future project.

They couldn't foresee that Gandolfini would go so soon.

It’s pretty clear what happened in that final episode when you look at it. But I think Chase was a bit too clever with it, that people didn’t pick up on it.

A few years ago, I watched it backwards. From last episode to first. Not sure why, but it worked for me. And just last week I was in the mood to watch the Pine Barrens episode. So good. No cable for me!!

Not for nothing, but I loved the final episode.

I agree completely, I couldn’t believe so many people called the ending “brilliant”. It was lazy and a cop out.
