We should warn unsuspecting Foreigners about our comical nancy pants, Politically Correct, feel good and offended social culture here in the USA. I have foreign friends and colleagues that make fun of America for being so PC. We really do not understand how bad it is until you listen to others point out the insanity. We have gotten used to this.
According to my Mexican Colleagues, in the USA....
“You cannot talk about girls.”
“You cannot talk about spouses or boy/girlfriends”
“You cannot talk about Mexicans, Muslims, Asians or black people.”
“You cannot talk about God.”
“You cannot talk about Christmas or Santa Claus.”
“You cannot talk about gay people.”
“You cannot talk about (people with Downs Syndrome).”
“You cannot talk about handicap people.”
And they are right. When you know their language and listen to them have casual conversation, they are a much more relaxed people and do not get offended easily.
You may be right, once we get the wall built and help them with their dug/gang violence we may wind up as excellent friends.
People who work to live are more free than people who live under the ideology of money above all. We have a situation where this ideology crowds out pretty much everything else, practically speaking. America is so PC because PC is the pseudo-philosophy of the lords of money.
