!973 is the year I graduated high school and joined the Marine Corps. One of the more eventful years of my life.
In 1973, I graduated from Occidental College with an AB degree in history and began graduate study at the University of Southern California, so it was an important year in my life as well.
Later in November of that year after i turned 17, I joined the Army. At 17, the army was willing to take me, but I still needed my moms approval, but she was more than willing.
