I have a 12 year old car that books for about 4 thousand.

Already sunk 3 grand into it. Needs another grand or so to get it running good.

To replace it with a good USED vehicle would cost me $30,000.

The smart money is fixing what I have.

You could have taken the $4K from a sale + the $4K you were gong to spend and have $8K to buy a 7 year old car.

I’m on my last new vehicle.

The old Jeeps and Blazer are getting some resources thrown at them.

Parts are murder. Some tools have gotten there too.

I’m glad I took the three years of HS auto mechanics. All but the big jobs I can do.
