(HAT TIP nicollo): To get an important committee appointment such as the one Rep Andre Carson has on an Intelligence committee, Carson has to be bringing in serious money for the DNC. These appointments are paid positions: every committee appointment has an amount that Members have to raise in exchange.

In other words, Andre Carson is channeling serious Islamicist cash directly into the DNC. It's not just for his own candidacies.

EXCERPT From Wamp's piece: "For example, while I was writing this piece, I received a call from a sitting lawmaker, asking for a donation toward the $325,000 dollars he’s obligated to pay the NRCC every year."

So why does congress need their own bank?

And why does congress’s bank have their own rules?

Because they are congress and make the rules.

Socialism is for the people not the socialist.

EXCERPT---THE DAILY CALLER---HAT TIP LUKE ROSIAK
Authorities shut down Awan’s standard email account Feb. 2, and he was arrested by the FBI at Dulles International Airport trying to board a flight to his native Pakistan on July 25. Authorities apparently did not realize Awan has a second account that is not linked to his identity.

While Awan’s main email address began rejecting mail after it was shut down, the 123 address in Rep Andre Carson's was still accepting mail as of Tuesday.

Mail sent via Gmail fills in the name of the account-holder of 123 as Nathan Bennett, a Carson aide; Bennet's LinkedIn profile says his individual legislative portfolio covers “national security and foreign affairs” and includes work on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

The member Bennett works for, Andre Carson, is a member of both the House Intelligence and House Homeland Security Committees, and previously employed Awan.

FEEL SAFE YET? Carson is also ranking member of the House intelligence subcommittee on Emerging Threats, which oversees the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The subcommittee oversight extends to the National Counterterrorism Center and information-sharing programs.

A spokeswoman for Andre Carson, Jessica Gail, did not express concern or surprise when contacted by TheDCNF about Awan’s still-active email address Monday morning. Bennett said Tuesday morning Gail had not even informed him of the details.

Bennett, who is Carson’s deputy chief of staff, told TheDCNF he has no control over the 123 address. “However this happened, it was not with my consent or control,” he said in an email. “For the record, I do not, nor have I ever, had control of the 123@mail.house.gov email account or any other account connected with Imran Awan or his family.” That could not be confirmed by the House’s chief administrative officer (CAO) because spokesman Dan Weiser has said “the CAO will not comment on matters pertaining to this ongoing investigation.”

Bennett’s response raises questions about whether Awan was misusing Carson’s office, access or staffers.

Gail declined to comment on Awan, or state whether the office is concerned he may have misused Bennett’s identity. She also declined to state whether the office has taken any measures to assess its data security since Awan’s problems came to the attention of the office in September 2016.

Carson had employed Awan since 2015, and did not fire him when his office learned Awan was the subject of an investigation in September. He also did not fire Awan immediately after he was banned from the House computer network by Capitol Police in February, payroll records show.

George Webb ha teamed with his brother Dave Acton who by the way is a banking expert, and George has teamed with other intel community members and law enforcement to rattle the cages of the Awan prosecutors, why?

Because two relatives of Debbie Wasserman-Shultz work in the DC US Attorney’s Office which is prosecuting the Awan case.

But, as these prosecutors are aligned with DC corrupt deep state actors, their plan is to slap the wrists of Imran Awan and then let him be deported to Pakistan WHILE DOWNPLAYING THE SPY RING.

The script is written so that the espionage network in DC is kept intact while the news cycle rolls past.

So what the Webbs are doing is basically causing trouble for the prosecutors, so that the full scope of the criminality is exposed, and more charges will be required.

Even now, the US Attorney’s Office for DC is blocking and burying information outside the limited credit union loans. And these credit union loans are not a fraction of a percent of the wider criminal enterprise.

US Attorneys answer to the Department of Justice which is headed by Attorney General Sessions. My respect for Jeff Sessions has gone in the tank. I wish what I think about him was not true.

1) $10,000 is not a magic number for generating a SAR by a finanical institution . It’s technically possible to trigger the generation of a SAR with a one dollar transaction, although that would be highly unusual and would involve insider abuse. There are trigger points at $5,000 and $25,000, but, again, the dollar amount alone is not the determinant. https://www.ffiec.gov/bsa_aml_infobase/pages_manual/OLM_015.htm

2)The feds like traceable money. The wire is going to leave a trail. It is less likely to be seen as suspicious than a cash transaction. Likening a wire and a cash transaction shows some level of ignorance. By the way, the feds don’t require the reason for the wire transfer https://www.ffiec.gov/bsa_aml_infobase/pages_manual/olm_025.htm

And the part about the institution losing billions on wire transfers is nonsensical. Wires are a fee based business. The bank isn’t shifting its money, it is shifting the customer’s money.

That should get you started.

Quick heads up for all readers: The easiest crime for the feds to prosecute is ‘structuring’ - arranging your banking transactions to try to avoid reporting. In other words, a transaction might generate a report, but if the transaction is otherwise legal, no sweat. Structuring the same amount, however, is a crime.

No, it isn’t the troll position. It is the non-idiot position.

I’ve provided a couple of links to Fincen for those who want to know more than fake news.

By the way, if anyone wants to look up info on the CU, it’s real name is Wright Patman Congressional FCU, Charter no. 8797.

If the guy quoted ever worked at a bank, I hope it was as a janitor.

Oh, by the way, this is in the Awan indictment if you are interested in reading it.

- we noticed you are sending $165k to Pakistan. You can't do that for funeral expenses. I'll change it to home expenses. That's perfectly fine.

I guess that's OK....

he brought a Mausoleum.

FBI: Debbie Wasserman Schultz Pressured Congressional Credit Union to Give Loan to Awan and Wife
True Pundit | 8/8/2017 | by Investigative Bureau / FR Posted by b4its2late

Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz pressured officials at the Congressional Federal Credit Union to write a loan to a husband and wife from Pakistan now charged and accused of bank fraud, according to federal law enforcement sources.

Wasserman Schultz, onetime DNC chair, intervened in the loan process to help guarantee Imran Awan and wife Hina Alvi a $165,000 loan which the couple quickly wired to Pakistan far from the reach of US regulators, FBI sources confirm.

Imran was arrested on bank fraud charges in July while attempting to flee to Pakistan. His wife fled the country to Pakistan in March after the FBI caught her at Dulles International Airport with undocumented cash. She was suspected of bank fraud by the FBI who allowed her to leave the country anyway.

The Congressional Federal Credit Union is not open to the public but is normally reserved for Congress and members of their staffs.

According to FBI sources familiar with the criminal case, Congressional Federal Credit Union officials were hesitant to write the couple the loan because underwriters flagged portions of the Awan’s application as problematic and risk loaded. That was until Wasserman Schultz is believed to have made overtures to the federally-backed credit union to vouch for Awan and his spouse.

FBI sources said the home equity credit line was approved despite the red flags, namely: The Awans rented the home linked to the loan application, but the FBI said the bank does not extend home equity lines to rental properties. The Awans never told the bank it was a rental property, the FBI said.

FBI sources would not confirm whether Wasserman Schultz wrote letters or emails to bank hierarchy or made telephone calls to push for the loan. Likewise, FBI sources did not confirm whether Wasserman Schultz was the target of a parallel FBI investigation.

Loan officers and underwriters made several inquiries to the Awans during the loan application process to try to clear up glaring discrepancies. according to the FBI. Emails sent by Awan and his wife to the credit union’s underwriters originated from an IP address linked to Wasserman Schultz’s congressional offices, FBI sources confirmed.

According to the FBI, the Awans omitted assets and liabilities both on the bank application as well as their federal tax returns which improved their debt-to-income ratio. But underwriters at CFCU caught these errors and wanted additional documentation on outstanding mortgages and rental income linked to the Awans which were never disclosed by the couple.

In January 2017, CFCU requested Alvi file an Occupancy and Financial Status Affidavit to prove the couple was using the address as a primary residence (even though they were not), according to the FBI. Days later the loan was approved.

During that waiting period, Awan and his wife made several inquiries into the status of the loan, again, via email from computer networks linked to Congress, FBI sources said.

Within hours of the loan approval — on Jan. 18, 2017 at noon — Awan’s wife Alvi requested the $165,000 loan plus an additional $118,000 from her CFCU accounts be wired to two individuals in Faisalabad, Pakistan, according to bank records.

But before the credit union initiated the international wire request for $283,000 to Pakistan, officials from CFCU contacted Alvi on her cell phone to confirm the wire, according to the FBI. Bank officials initially balked at commencing the wire transfer because Imran changed his voice on the phone to pose as his wife. First he said the funds were to be used in Pakistan for funeral arrangements, the FBI said. Then Imran, still in character posing as his wife, changed gears after CFCU said they were not going to wire the funds. Imran said on the call he would search online for a permissible reason to wire the funds, according to the FBI.

Imran — again posing as his wife — claimed the funds were for a purchase pf property and not for a funeral. After a delay, the funds were wired to Pakistan, FBI sources said. The call was tape recorded and is now in evidence in the Awan fraud case.

FBI sources would not say whether Wasserman Schultz intervened to push CFCU to proceed with the problematic wire transfers. FBI sources said that CFCU officials did suspect Imran was using a female voice to pose as his wife who originally initiated the wire request electronically.

Yet the funds were still wired.

Awan and his wife, as well as his two brothers are also targets of an investigation into an alleged procurement scam where the group is suspected of stealing equipment, Blackberry phones, and hacking House IT systems without permission. Wasserman Schultz could not be reached for comment.

Another angle: Has the Congressional Credit Union ever been opened to any other government contractor? The Awans were not ordinary employees, they were consultants/contractors as far as I can tell.
