I give to Samaritans Purse. Here's their rating at Charity Navigator.

I'm considering Samaritan's Purse, but have some questions (based on bad experiences donating to outfits like the Salvation Army and March of Dimes).

1. How often does Samaritan's Purse send out fundraising letters to those who have donated? If it's more than a couple per year, is there some way to opt out?

2. When donating, is there a box to check off declaring that my contact information is to be shared with absolutely no one?
