Actually (and no kidding) the ‘experts’ say that you should always have an even number of cats - they seem to make alliances, and get along better that way.
Our Laz needs another cat...

Experts... I had one cat, and traveled for work. Poor thing seemed so lonesome, so, I got her a buddy. She hates him. After five years, she hates him. Now he has low self-esteem. I want to get him a buddy so she can grumble in peace. Can’t see a third, just can’t!
Well, maybe if the right Maine Coon male came along...

Our beloved cat just died of old age (age 18). Our kids, then small, now adults, are devastated. Very sad.
I really wish a homeless little kitten would just wander past our door.
If you’ll put the kitty in the mail I’ll send you the postage and my address.
