It’s pretty easy to not watch the Browns.

It's pretty easy not to watch the Browns

They couldn't exist without their loyal beyond comprehension fan base. It's a small base, with Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Indianapolis and Detroit all overlapping its local range. They seem to be mostly patriotic US citizens, who believe in serving their country and America-first values.

What happened is beyond comprehension. That so many of these men-children could plan such a large number to protest speaks volumes about the coaches and management. Either they don't control their players or they don't give a damn about their fan base.

I can't wait to see how the Browns handle this. One suggestion out there for starters is to not go to the owners truck stops. It doesn't take that many making such a decision to seriously impact the bottom line. Also, don't buy or wear Browns gear. I'd call it "soft boycott". Don't totally boycott sponsors, but do so when there's a reasonable replacement.
