In the 60’s people burned flags. I remember how mad that made me. That was desecration. This kneeling stuff is what? Protest? This country was built on protest. Sure i disagree with their stance and if people want to tune out thats their right as well and if owners refuse to hire Kapernick over this that too is their right.
I guess all i’m saying is people have a right to disagree in this country.

the fan base will diminish...

What is wrong with the NFL? These guys are collecting a paycheck. They should be ordered to either stand and respect the flag and the national anthem or stay in the locker room until the opening ceremonies are over.

What could be simpler? I wonder if the NFL would be as wimpy if some of them refused to wear silly pink ribbons because they don't like breast cancer. grrrrr..........

I figure it's okay to watch as long as it's on antenna TV (no way to record it and add to viewership), don't buy or wear any NFL gear, don't go to any games, and whenever there's a reasonable choice, don't buy any product which advertises with NFL events.

If everyone did that, a "soft boycott", it would have the desired impact.

I hope the 49ers and the Browns are the first two teams to be dissolved in bankruptcy. Good riddance to them and to the rest of the league. The NFL fines players for wearing unapproved shoes or throwing a football into the stands, but they tolerate disrespect to our flag, our anthem, and our country? The NFL is dead to me.

Of course. The issue is with the NFL. This is a workplace issue. The NFL should TELL them that they cannot protest while they are working. I'm okay with them staying in the locker room during opening ceremonies.
