Thats why American companies have been opening offices there for years.Oh, I suspect Ireland's low corporate taxes had more to do with that. Though, I'm certainly not disparaging the Irish people's command of the English language.

Financial services companies began moving some back-office operations over there decades ago. Corporate tax rates weren’t applicable. What mattered most to these companies was that the workers cost less than their American counterparts, and spoke/read English perfectly.
