It’s been done as a movie and a couple miniseries’ but not as a regular series.
Yes, as a kid I loved the book, the sequels less so each-by-each.
Too big a book, too grand a scale to fit on the small or large screen.
Probably too good a book for the screen as well...the imagination does what the camera can’t.
