We need the FDA and USDA to act immediately to make sure no one uses the word “rice” unless they have a government license to do so. People can easily become confused between rice and cauliflower, and it is a serious threat to public health. What if a child got their hands on this? Without knowing the difference, they could easily kill themselves.

Man that is nasty stuff. Esp if the wife lets it sit in the fridge to long. I finally convinced her to buy the frozen stuff so the fridge does not smell like a fart.

“Sligar worries riced cauliflower is confusing consumers and may have an impact on rice sales. “
Yes, what was that? Article VI of the constitution that required FedGov to make sure consumers do not get confused?
So what? Then we’ll have confused consumers and an impact of rice sales. Here’s a hot tip, Asia is full of rice eaters.

Do we need to call cauliflower rice, asked rice farmer Matthew Sligar. Riced cauliflower I mean, why even call it riced cauliflower? Could call it bits of cauliflower, or cauliflower crumbles. Secondly, when did riced become a verb? I guess this guy doesn't cook much? Riced has been a verb for a long time. You rice foods with a ricer. The term can be found in many cookbooks.
