I’ll be interested to see if this really makes it to market and how it does. Mazda is one of the best at putting the power to the road. The rotary engine may have flopped commercially, but it would not surprise me at all if Mazda made this work.

Haha! The .049 was my first. Mounted in a P-51 Mustang U-Control when I was a kid.
After many decades of modeling RC aircraft I eventually worked my way up to some 40cc engines.
That didn't last long though. Planes crash. So I took up building and sailing RC sailboats.

Just took me back to the late ‘50s, early ‘60s. Just the mention of it and I smelled the burned methanol/castor oil as if I was there again.
