Meanwhile the West is breaking high temp records every day.

Yes, we are. Hubby and I have had airconditioning in our homem for many years simply because I am quite sensitive to hot weather. Some people just love hot weather, I just wilt in hot weather. And "hot" for me, is pretty much anything over about 77 degrees. Anyway,we were really glad that we had our unit get a maintenance treatment a couple of months ago, because it has been unbelieveably hot here in the Seattle area.

The average temp for Seattle for this time of year is 77. It has been in the 80's and 90's now for a couple of weeks, and next week looks to be mid to upper 80s all week. The east side of the State is even warmer.

However, the real problem has been the wildfires going on above us in British Colombia. There has been a haze over the Puget Sound area for almost a week. This morning I was pleased to see a couple of blue spots peeking thru the haze. Earlier this week, they were warning people with respiratory problems to stay indoors. A couple of days ago, that warning was issued to everyone. Our air quality has been awful, and the haze has been so thick that I haven't seen actual sky for a week. We also haven't had any rain for a very long time. Yes, I did say I live in Seattle. This week, we may actually break a record for longest period of time without measurable rain.

Its the same here in Atlanta for the past two weeks. Incredibly pleasant. I’m thinking a cold winter coming. We got almost no new baby squirrels this season. Our neighborhood is usually thick with them. Mr. GG2 has beefed up the woodpile.

57 degrees when I woke up in Southern Connecticut this morning. My wife begged me to close the windows and turn off the ceiling fan.

We have central AC and we've only used it ONCE this summer. This has been the coldest summer I remember and I've been on this earth for over 50 years. Last week, we debated turning on the heat or putting a fire in our fireplace. I'm not just making that up! Last Monday, it went down to 51 degrees and I put on my fall jacket to go to work.

Global warming is a hoax

The Sun and it's solar cycle are entering a minimum unseen since the mini Ice Age

Funny how the news media and government schools have hidden that the Sun has a solar cycle that affects the climate of the little speck called Earth: 1 million Earths fit into the Sun which is another fact adult democrat millennials living in their parent's basement because of the Obama no jobs economy don't know about.

My focus here (MA) is on Northeast which has seen a cooler and wetter summer than normal, contrary to the typical Climate Change alarmist forecasts.

Summer 2017 Temperature Outlook - The Weather Channel https://weather.com/news/weather/news/june-july-august-temperature-forecast-summer-2017-the-weather-company Apr 17, 2017 -The East will see the highest chances for warmer-than-average temperatures early in the summer.

Summer 2017 Temperature Outlook: Much of the East, South and West will see a higher chance of warmer-than-average temperatures this summer. ... https://weather.com/news/weather/news/summer-2017-june-july-august-temperature-forecast-the-weather-company-noaa

May 19, 2017 - According to NOAA’s summer outlook, most of the United States is favored to have a hotter than average summer in 2017. Only in the Great Plains do forecasters think the chances for a cool or a normal summer are equal to the chances of a hot summer. https://www.climate.gov/news-features/understanding-climate/where-are-highest-chances-hot-summer-2017

The Weather Forecast for August, September and October? Hot! By Laura Geggel, Senior Writer | July 20, 2017 05:22pm ET https://www.livescience.com/59886-weather-forecast-summer-fall-2017.html Grab that iced tea — much of the U.S. has had a hot summer so far, and it's only going to get hotter, according to a report released today (July 20) by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). For the next three months — August, September and October — the United States is predicted to have above-average temperatures, Dan Collins, a meteorologist and seasonal forecaster with the NOAA Climate Prediction Center-Operational Prediction Branch, said in news briefing today.

The Next Season revealed in our 2017 Spring Forecast, here Michael Carter and Dr. Doug Gillham Meteorologists https://www.theweathernetwork.com/us/news/articles/us-weather/2017-spring-forecast-temperature-precipitation-summer-sneak-peek/79721/ Monday, March 20, 2017, 11:28 Widespread normal to above normal temperatures will dominate much of the country this spring, with the exception of the Pacific Northwest, where we will continue to see cooler than normal temperatures linger well past the start of Spring...In comparison to last season, the Northeast will see less extreme heat than last year (though still warmer than normal) and more plentiful rainfall.

Reality:

Compared to the hype about warmer than average temps, it seems hard to find reports on summer Northeast temps, and all i could find was for June. A good jet stream maps also eludes me.

Well, they sure got June of this year wrong.

Why should I believe them for August?

And I *KNOW* better than to believe them.

And I don’t because *hot* for August is not panning out right now. Right now we are, again, cooler than average.

It isn’t what is was yesterday and it ain’t what it will be tomorrow nor any other day. The Climate Changers don’t know the half of it or the other half for that matter.
