I was an US Army paratrooper and jumpmaster. A “Towed Jumper” was a soldier, who, after jumping ended up being dragged along outside of the aircraft by their parachute’s (usually mis-routed), static line. The end result was to be repeatedly smacked up along the outside of aircraft, bounced and dragged through the slipstream behind the plane. Mercifully, I never was a ‘towed jumper’ myself.
In another sense, being a ‘towed jumper’ is a metaphor regarding life. Often, because of our own decisions and mistakes, we get dragged along and buffeted through life tethered by the consequences of those decisions and mistakes.
My fellow freeps sometimes amaze me with the depth of their philosophical thoughts. That is a really good metaphor, and you're quite humble to wear it as your moniker.
