It wouldn’t surprise me a bit if most of the congresscretins have similar histories. The Kennedy “Camelot” myth was built on a foundation of illegal booze smuggling during prohibition. Probably most elected officials at the national level have benefitted from criminal activity (theirs or their parents/grandparents).

And no, that’s not intended as an excuse for Pelosi or any sort of cover. She’s horrid and didn’t fall far from her father’s horrid tree, to mangle a metaphor.

The really stupid "CAMELOT" myth was concocted out of whole cloth, by Jackie Kennedy and was a massive rewriting of factual history/propaganda.

Anyone who was alive back then and at least 18, should know the truth; but sadly, many just swallowed that piece of propaganda without thinking.

JFK's presidency was riddle with strikes, the BAY OF PIGS disaster, the Cuban Missile Crisis mess, sending a ton of "advisors" ( military ) to Nam, Kruchev's speech at the UN and treating JFK and America badly, and yes, turmoil here. He was in Dallas that fateful day, because even with LBJ and his ability re voter fraud/"fixing" elections, they were not only going to loose Texas, in their re-election run, but the the election! Hell....even the N.Y. Times ran front page, above the fold, anti-Kennedy/his administration articles!

Joseph P Kennedy also made his bones in the stock market, where he excelled at insider trading, front-running, manipulation and fraud. He was actually selected as the first chairman of the SEC since he had the experience to know what dirty deeds and shenanigans should be eliminated.
