I rarely cry hard, blurry monitor a lot, but once in the pit of despair my husky/wolf came to me and licked my face. She got me through the worst time of my life and it was 20 years before I could get another dog.
My border collie girl had to be put down when she was almost 14, will be two years she’s been gone and I still cry. I freaked out once when I saw a BC that looked exactly like her. The owner let me hug her (the dog) and bawled like a baby. We went for coffee after and she let me hold her lead. It was great therapy.
