Anyone else ?
Photobucket is doing the same thing to me now as well.
THIS IS HUGH & SERIES
Yep, happened to me as well, just tried it. Oh oh, new tech. I guess its only a matter of time before other websites follow suit. They do this to Youtube it’s going to be a nightmare.
Working fine for me on my iPhone with Adblock
I’ll check at home with my browser running NoScript
FR is slow as s*** this afternoon. May be a leftist conspiracy.
Just went there and used AdBlocker Ultimate and was okay. I use Firefox.
FR OTOH, is slower than snail shiite. Takes almost a minute for the posting comment page to load. Sure used to be faster, before the outages, and presumed "upgrades".
I have AdBlock turned on and Drudge loads just fine. Probably different settings.
What the world needs is an undetectable ad blocker...why is that so hard?
You can try Opera 46 ,it comes with it’s own adblocker and a VPN if you need one
To screw with the page so you have to see internet ads is like a TV station managing to control your remote so you can’t mute commercials.
I blocked the picture that Drudge posts at the top of his page. Past pics have annoyed me too much. Don’t see them any more. I use the HOSTS file.
I never go to Drudge without using private or incognito browsing, since his site puts load after load of ad crap on your computer.
I have adblock plus enabled, and I see Drudge fine
Haven’t been to Drudge in a long while. I can get much the same ‘news’ at CNN.
Unfortunately, and on a related note, RSBN seems to be hosed now. I'm getting a page saying I'm being blocked unless I let them screw with my machine (i.e., enable JavaScript); so screw them!. Fortunately, I can still see everything I need from them on their youtube channel.
I have Ad Block Plus on my MacBook Pro, use it with both Safari and Chrome, and have no problem accessing him.
My response is very simple when they block my Ad Blocker Plus. I just X my way out and go elsewhere.
This is another excellent reason to use FR for our news and to donate to it.
After reading the thread comments, I have to ask...has anybody here EVER bought something from an internet ad?
I’ve never bought a thing from these ads, and I’ve seen thousands of them...millions maybe.
I’m not sure I understand the concept of “ad blockers”. Don’t people or companies post content that you want to see to make money? No ad revenue, no content.
I can access Drudge using adblock plus on Chrome.
However, any site that blocks my adblocker no longer gets visited by me.
I’m not going to look at your adds, and I’m not going to turn it off.
Ok yesterday, now no go.
Photobucket ok, just the usual offer to subscribe.
Why go to Drudge when anything important comes up, it’s here in just a few minutes without the garbage. AND you can spout off your two cents about it!
Drudge works fine with uBlock Origin.
