The only thing fishy about this story in that it is difficult to get kids onto the spaceship to Mars without a U.S. Passport.

Sure, NASA could kidnap kids, but tots don’t carry their passports when they are kidnapped.

That seems to be the only hole in the theory.

Besides that, toddlers get car sick on the way to school, how would NASA deal with a 100 space sick kids?

But since they go from a US location via a US conveyance directly to the Sheila Jackson Lee Mars Base where the US astronauts planted the flag, they don't need a passport! It's no more complicated than a trip to the nearest Chuck E. Cheese.
