I was a witness to an accident at an intersection with a lot of lanes and a sports car next to me waiting at a red light. The sports car took off very quickly and suddenly, I missed whether the light had turned green before he did, but it was green when I looked up at it an instant later so he was close at least. I also noticed a car racing through the intersection from the left trying to beat the light...and the sports car ended up ramming it right in the side. I had not even taken my foot off the brake before the accident happened.
I waited for the police to show up so they could get my contact information as a witness.
Later a judge called me and interviewed me about it. After describing the incident, he asked me who I thought was at fault, and I said both of them. If either of them had been driving reasonably the accident would not have happened.
“If either of them had been driving reasonably the accident would not have happened.”
