This is an especially heart breaking ping. And the comments at the Daily Mail are horrific. The most vile comments get the most up-votes, and anyone displaying support for Charlie with comments like "where there is life, there is hope" get downvoted. If you ever wondered what kind of people could label others "useless eaters" and march them into ovens, here they are.
“..Doctors at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London, where Charlie is being cared for, said they wanted him to be able to ‘die with dignity’.
But the couple, from Bedfont, west London, raised almost £1.4million so they could take their son to America but a series of courts ruled in favour of the British doctors. ..”
Prayers to God said!
SAD, SHOCKING AND SHAMEFUL. The government owns them. This is what single-payer health insurance can lead to. Hope we never get single payer in the U.S., but we might. We need to voice our opinion to our politicians, and let them know we NEVER want single-payer insurance here.
Glad to see this ping list again.
