Courtroom video. Judge eviscerates the couple for fighting over the child and awards joint custody.
The woman mouths off to the judge and gets 24 hrs then 48 hrs then 72 hrs at the Durham County Bed and Breakfast before she blows a gasket and the courtroom is flooded with deputies.
Bill Clinton would've gotten a lot of sympathy if he'd just said, "Hey, if you were married that bitch what would you do?"
The vid reminded me of a friend whose ex wife showed up for a custody hearing drunk. The judge had her breathylized, charged with contempt and my pal got full custody.
“I think I understand the man’s choice in leaving.”
Me, too!
I have sat in courtrooms where what this judge said is totally appropriate, some people are blooming idiots. They treat their children like dirt and use them against their spouse. She thought she was on the street where she was in charge. In the courtroom the judge rules with an iron fist if needed. She decided to challenge him and he dropped the hammer on her ghetto behavior. The man in the case shut his mouth, took his medicine and walked.
The other idiot in the back thought he was in the hood as well and didn’t have to follow the rules and he got a trip to the county resort. It’s simple don’t show your a$$ and follow directions and it usually works out a whole lot better for you. If you want to go ghetto you pay the price in the court room setting if the judge is worth a warm bucket of dog piss.
This type of nobody ever tells me what to do behavior is why you end up with cops having to beat your butt and in some cases use deadly force.
I blame the parents of this “parent”.
I know. I’m so careful with paragraphing usually. I hate reading through blocks of text.
The problem is that when taking material that is already paragraphed, such as excerpting a story sometimes there is something that gets sensed as HTML and that eliminates the paragraphing which has to be added back in.
I wasn’t fast enough to catch it today, twice! The first time I reposted corrected, the second time I fled in disgust & chagrin...
Her lawyer probably couldn’t have done much but she sure didn’t TRY to do anything... a true potted plant, that one.

Anyway, it’s hard to imagine anyone as stupid as that screaming woman.
Definitely not the best way to win an argument with a judge.
Nowhere in the law says a judge can call you names. If you think that is okay what will you think when a judge starts cursing from the bench? This “sit down and shut up and do what your told by authority figures” is what leads a police state. A good cop should never be abusive. Nor should a judge. If you want my respect, show me some respect.
What this woman did got her some jail time and I can understand that. But it was escalated by the judge.
Durham. Figures
The law doesn’t say the judge can’t call you names. I believe cops and judges should stop being abusive when criminals stop being abusive.
The problem in this country is not the law. It’s the criminals.
LOLs!
I don’t know but it seems the judge had seen something in this case set him off on these two individuals, something they had done to their child. Who knows what it was but it set the judge off. So we don’t have all the facts, he did.
If you are in a courtroom you will sit down and shut up if the judge tells you too. If you don’t you pay the price. If you want to get into a pissing contest with a police officer on a traffic stop or a judge in his court room you will lose every time in that setting. You go to the officers supervisor and get an attorney involved after the event. In the case of a judge you have the same options, but taking them on in their domain is always a losing proposition.
As for respect, whatever these to so-called parents had done they had blown all respect the judge had for them. The judge escalated and she reacted like a thug and paid the price. The husband shut his mouth, got his butt chewed out and walked out the door with a much better judgement.
Then the judge should have told they’re sorry but excuses for parents and maybe even evil. But when he repeatedly called them idiots, first, he gave them an excuse because they’re idiots. What can you expect from a couple of idiots.
Second, if they had done something horrible the kid should have been taken from them rather than allow the two “idiots” to share in the horrible treatment of the child.
Third, It also showed the judge’s vocabulary is seriously lacking. Sounds like he’s “insult adjective” challenged.
