Californias draconian new gun laws will require residents of the Golden state to register their assault weapons with the state (which they will have to pay to do of course) by the end of the year. But thanks to capitalism and the free market, gun makers have already figured out workarounds.

But if you factor out the international, left coast, and north east tranplants, it skyrockets to 250% ;)
My Colorado born Aunt and her husband moved to Santa Rosa/ Petaluma about 20 years ago and have recently moved back to Colorado Springs, a couple years ago.
Their Daughter is a stark raving mad lib and my Aunt supported Obama and the Demo creed. I am convinced there was something in the CA water.
As much as I love her, it pains me to see another lib populate my beloved home state.

>>>More than half of the private guns sold in 2016 were sold in CA.
I am having a difficult time with that “stat”, since it would imply that gun owners there don’t vote<<<
We Vote, but we are outnumbered. We also don’t have Illegal Invaders Voting for our Candidates, they always ILLEGALLY Vote for DemoncRats since we have no Voter ID Laws.
(not that it would help considering nobody bothers to validate if people are US Citizens when they commit Perjury when filling out our wonderful Motor Voter Registration Forms at the DMV using fake Birth documents)
California...
Oh Well....
She had a Good Run.
Adios.
CA can proceed straight to hell without passing go.
Joined the Leftist Horde to deny second amendment rights to conservatives have you?
The conservatives in CA are trying to split free from Moonbeam and his Gaystapo. Look up state of Jefferson.

As a matter of fact this Californian prefers Weatherby
hunting rifles which are made in Paso Robles, CA.
You are getting it now.
You may be right.
When I lived in Kalifornia, I owned 9 guns of which only 4 were registered back in the 60’s when I bought them. Including college, I have probably moved over 25 times since. If I had to re-register them now, I would have to say they were all stolen. I now live in Colorado, where open carry is not uncommon...and I don’t have to drive half way across the state to join other gun owners firing every kind of firearm ever made. Lifetime NRA since I was 18.
I am having a difficult time with that “stat”, since it would imply that gun owners there don’t vote ...”
A lot of gun owners do not vote in CA. When people started petitions to counter the anti-gun laws a lot of the names were invalidated because they were not registered to vote.
All sales by FFL dealers are required to perform Federal NICS check before sale, doesn't matter what the State law says.
Methinks this is the root cause for the People's republic of California's woes.
“...You are getting it now....”
Ha...yeah...I admit, it was a dumb post.
And I know there are lots of conservatives and gun owners that live in CA, and I feel bad for em. I don’t blame the ones that have left there. I’d surely want out too. It just very upsetting to see communist libs trampling on peoples’ rights.
“...I didnt realize that you are deaf, dumb and blind!...”
My wife accuses me of that quite a bit....LOL
I admitted it was a dumb post on my part and if I offended you, I apologize.
I am a little hard of hearing, but not deaf yet; certainly not dumb as I reload all my own ammo and have done so quite successfully with thousands of rounds fired. Not blind, at least not yet. I do wear glasses, but can still shoot pretty darn good for an old geezer.
Boyyyyyhowdy to that! I go back and forth wondering who
to hate more, the politicians or the media which looks
the other way while they drive the state into the ground.
It is a statewide version of what the country had under
Obama.
