Married teacher arrested for having sex with teen student A married teacher was busted for allegedly raping a 16-year-old student as they carried on a romantic relationship, according to reports.
Lindsey Jarvis, 27, allegedly had sex with the underage boy when she worked as a social studies teacher at Woodford County Middle School in Kentucky, according to WKYT.
The victim told police that he slept with Jarvis, while his cellphone had evidence that he and the teacher were in a romantic relationship.

IMHO it is very sad commentary that even here on FR, men are OKing adultery, molestation, and rape of a minor regardless of the appearance of the woman.
One theory is that the teachers see themselves (or want to see themselves) as still young, still teenagers. That age is what the culture values, and it’s the time a lot of people think they had the most fun. So the teachers are attracted to boys because they’d like to be that age themselves (or feel that they really are that age inside).
Just cuz she looks good don’t mean she aint a conniving witch. It may be possible that she is and most men see that part in her and avoid at all costs...so she goes after a testosterone fueled motor neuron controlled young man to get her sensory stimulation. Hope they can work it out. Young man will probably think he hit the jackpot...
At 16 I wouldn’t have card if anyone considered a pervert. I woud have been totally stoked and it would made my time in high school worthwhile.

Because teen age boys don’t have a problem with having sex with great looking teachers. It is in the blood. You do know that in the 1800’s these guys would be fathers many times over. It is different with girls because they have the hymen. Just stating facts. Trust me that guy is high 5ing his friends and his dad stood up straighter finding this out. If I were on the jury, I can’t imagine giving a guilty verdict unless she drugged him.

In Florida it was illegal for an unmarried couple to live together until 2016. Again, prosecutorial discretion otherwise they'd have to turn all the robbers and murderers loose to make room.

I don’t care how much she loses financially...she knew the risks. I have a BS in Business education, I can assure you that she was warned about appropriate conduct and boundaries...She ignored the warnings. The majority of teachers do not succumb to some infatuation/temptation and they recognize appropriate boundaries...Most savvy teachers keep their social lives and social media private from their students.
Frankly, it is not a matter of feminists being right...NO teacher should be involved with their students—regardless of student’s age...No teacher should be involved with students no matter the gender, no matter the circumstances...
Taxpayers pay salaries for teachers to teach certified subject matter, not to have trysts with their students. Parents send their CHILDREN to school to learn-—in this case about Social Studies, not to learn about/have sex...
