You can be a gay apologist all you want, but I will underscore for readers that you yourself just referred to the Black and Gold colors that are commonly identified with the Penguin's jerseys, and implied that it would be unseemly to have colors other than these to represent them (never mind how such a thing impacts licensing and trademark issues -- unless you somehow reserved and registered the colors of the Homo-Penguin jersey for use on designated occasions).

The images I've posted below are just from the last 15 years -- and they only include cases where the national teams were playing in prominent international tournaments, not meaningless exhibition games.
We have the national team from the 2014 Winter Olympics -- with home/away colors plus a "third jersey" that these teams began using for historical commemoration or simply to enhance merchandise sales:
