The legal concept is “condonation.” Accepting a gift from someone you claim raped you — AFTER the alleged rape — suggests you are friends and the act was a friendly (thus consensual).

Legally it is a powerful argument.

Not to mention the one victim who accepted an invitation to go on a trip to Atlantic City with him and stay in his hotel room, AFTER she claims he already raped her once.

Something don’t taste right, chef.

I read they had phone conversation for about a year after the alleged rape. Calls last between 30 to 45 minutes. She went to the police when the calls stopped, if so, sounds like she got dumped and wanted revenge.
