Vanity: Why no "Comey memo" yet? Because it's a trap to get Trump to talk
Today | Vanity

Comey likely did write a memo but there were no salacious details in it; which is why he did not give it to the Senate. Instead he gave it to a friend and told the friend salacious stuff and the friend told the NYTs.

Bet you $1 Comey's friend does not give the senate the memo but instead gives it to Mueller so the memo won't become public.

It is just a trap to trick Trump in to saying bad stuff.

Trump’s lawyer has a right to see the memo. It’s called “Discovery”.

Of course he does. I don’t believe he actually wrote one when he said he did. I believe he just cobbled it together after he was fired. Who doesn’t keep a copy of their own memos? Especially the FBI! For that alone, he should be fired.

“President Trump should NEVER stop tweeting. Direct communication to the people.”

I agree.

It’s all he said/he said.

If you have a one on one meeting with anyone, unless there is audio and video, no one will ever know for certain who said what, who shrugged, who lifted their eyebrow etc.

We need to move on.

Yes Trump became a billionaire and the leader of the free world against all odds by listening to people like you.

If Trump had heeded all the “advice” he has been given over the years he would have wound up like Willy Loman

Btw commie now says he deleted the memos

If Mueller cannot produce these imaginary memos then he is complicit and needs to be put under oath since commie supposedly gave them to him.

Shut up and quit your Never Trump teenager posting.

Anyone, who wants Trump to give up his first amendment right to Tweet is a scumbag wanting Trump to fail and has some serious morality issues.

Take a few minutes to go to Laz’s list of what our president has accomplished while you are bitching about him Tweeting and destroying his enemies with those tweets.

Now, whenever a pearl clutcher/never Trumpster posts lies er concerns about Trump failing to do what is right, I will direct them to this thread.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3559939/posts

Of course that link will show others what our president is doing while the Never Trumpsters continue whine and lie like little teenage thugs.

Comey is as cunning as the most depraved criminal.

I agree. In fact, Comey did blocking and tackling for one of the richest and more reprehensible criminal organizations the world has ever produced: the Clinton Foundation.

The Clinton Foundation single-handedly pillaged and plundered the nation of Haiti following the devastating earthquake of a few years back.

Comey is one of the legal masterminds of the Clinton Foundation and is therefore responsible for countless acts of plunder, death, and destruction.

To think that a man of such evil was head of our FBI makes me shudder in disgust.

Agreed. His staff, perhaps, offering recommendations to structure his comments in order to keep him from wandering into deep holes and weeds. Though do not twitter on this screen, his comments and talks would be missed if he failed to reach out to US. FDR did it - DJT should be encouraged to do so as well.

COMEY: I don't. I turned them over to Bob Mueller's investigators

So Comey was in possession of the federal documents AFTER he was terminated.

LANKFORD: Do they — do they still have a copy of those memos?

COMEY: That’s a good question. I think so. I guess I can’t say for sure, sitting here, but I — I — I guess I don’t know, but I think so.

Trump needs to reserve personal Tweeting for good news. Let the press report on that.

So Comey was in possession of the federal documents AFTER he was terminated.

Comey said during the testimony that he entered these notes/memos into has laptop.

He likely had his laptop with him in California when he was fired. So, the obvious question is... where is the laptop now?

The Comey Memo is meaningless, except to the extent it is proven false by a tape or something. Comey can testify as to what was said in the meetings, he doesn't need the memos. If he is contradicted, then he can bring in the memos as a writing that is consistent with what he testified, to bolster his testimony. But if people believe he is a liar, the memos don't add or detract anything. The only other thing he can use the memo for is to "refresh" his memory when he is testifying. The whole thing comes down to Trump's word vs. Comey's, and the memos don't make much of a difference.

Of course, if there is a tape, then we may have perjury and some type of criminal effort to create false evidence in a criminal investigation.
