When 24 killed off its best charcter, Bill Buchanan played by actor James Morrison, it started to wane but I still enjoyed it up until they replaced Keifer Sutherland. I’d like to see James Morrison’s character in a spin off.
Yeah it’s disappointing to see two former 24 cast members in that play. The fact that it closed early in liberal NYC speaks volumes though. Not even New Yorkers wanted to see it.
Killing his character off was a mistake. They killed off way too many great supporting characters over the years.
No spoilers! We’re retired now and are just into Season 3 of the original series. We binge 3-4 episodes on evenings when we’re both home.
It’s quite entertaining! We place bets on what kind of trouble Kim will get into each episode...through no fault of her own, of course, LOL!
I know we have a long way to go - and that makes me happy!
Bauer is no MacGyver, but he does have his moments.

..writing was terrible,plots sucked,acting so so...no surprise.
Designated Survivor with Jack Bauer isn’t working either.
It was all about “diversity” and getting more minorities, especially blacks, into TV shows. I’m not against incorporating a diverse bunch of characters of different racial backgrounds and in fact prefer it to all that Gay crap one sees too much of these days.
I though Legacy was okay. Not great but okay. 24 was a hard act to follow. Ironically I’m extremely disappointed in Sutherland’s far left character on his new series Designated Survivor. Very disappointed.
Anyone else notice TV basically sucks right now. I understand we are between the Spring and Summer seasons but it’s really bad with the exception of just a few per week IMHO.
I hope Designated Survivor follows it into the dustbin of TV history.

Indeed. When trying out a series, if by the 3rd episode I find I could care less about what happens to ANY of the characters, then I’m done.

Well..... it didnt.
And it obviously did just that.
24 lost the enthusiasm of its fans when they had Sutherland film a brief clip that was shown during one of the episodes assuring us that really there was nothing much to worry about with Islamic terrorists.
