The theory is that dinosaurs were the ancestors of modern birds. That’s about as reasonable as saying that modern scientists evolved from dodo birds. They should show how many species of birds have or had fearsome teeth if they want to support the idea.
Of course, ordinary mortals aren’t allowed to argue with scientists because they alone are able to think. If they say there’s global warming or anything else, believe it. Otherwise, you’re anti-science.

I thought this was an article about the SOS. LOL! I hadn’t heard anything about his feathery past. Thought it was fake news to offset his ride with Rolling Thunder.

But later in the article it says T-Rex’s ancestors DID have feathers, based on fossil evidence.

Which would lead me to believe that the author has no clue on either how to write an article or describe the skin of the average dino.

Discovery Raises New Doubts About Dinosaur-bird Links:
"Frankly, there's a lot of museum politics involved in this, a lot of careers committed to a particular point of view even if new scientific evidence raises questions," Ruben said. In some museum displays, he said, the birds-descended-from-dinosaurs evolutionary theory has been portrayed as a largely accepted fact, with an asterisk pointing out in small type that "some scientists disagree."

My own theory was that earth used to have a lower gravity, which allow for bigger creatures to live. That theory sounds wild, on the face of it, but it's the only plausible explanation as to how such gigantic creatures could have ever existed on this planet.

They should show how many species of birds have or had fearsome teeth if they want to support the idea. Exactly. Please produce the fossil evidence which shows the gradual evolutionary shift from toothy jaws, into toothless beaks.

Oh brother, despite the evidence they are STILL holding onto the idea that T-rex had feathers... its just this specimen had evolved out of feathers:
Persons said that the feather coats of the tyrannosaur ancestors probably served as insulation to hold in body heat. As T. rex and certain other tyrannosaurs grew ever larger over time, their need for feathers probably diminished.
