There will always be jargon, and some become overused.
Even if we ban all of these, there will be new ones tomorrow.
My peeve is "think outside the box" when it comes from people who have yet to master thinking inside the box.

“Put a pin in it” What they really mean is “we don’t want to discuss this topic now, because it’s uncomfortable, or we don’t have the competence to effectively debate you, or we don’t want to deal with what you’re going to tell us.”

Theirs a local radio commercial by a business copier company where the owner warns against other competitors who want to “partner” with you. And if you hear that phrase; grab your wallet and run.
He goes on to say that you don’t need another mouth to feed (possible cliché, but OK). He says “I don’t want to be your partner, I want to be your vendor”.
I know I’m impressed. Straight forward talking.

“Skin in the game” too often said at a start up company when the boss wants to convert my missed paychecks into stock in the company.

My most hated: Synergy. Its shorthand for, One stupid bad, two stupids good. Magic makes it so.You win. I work in academia. I see this play out ALL THE TIME!! They'll whine "How can this be a bad idea if we have consensus?" I want to say "So do lemmings. And how's that working for them?"

"Dialogue" (as a verb): I need to dialogue with you...
"Touch voice to voice": meaning I'm too much of an asshat to request a phone call where we can "dialogue"...

How about “business partner” in reference to customers and especially vendors? Very well known to backfire.
